Q2:How can one apply to adopt national non-public use land for promoting environmental protection?

A2:

  1. Applicants should submit an adoption plan to apply for adoption to the NPA branch or office where the target national non-public use land for promoting environmental protection is located. The plan should specify particulars (e.g., land number, section number, district, city, town, township, city, county, etc.) of the target national non-public use land for promoting environmental protection, the overall planning of adoption, the concept of management and maintenance or environment beautification, the duration of adoption, and other necessary illustrations, drawings, and related data. After the joint review of the adoption plan and approval by the NPA and the related competent authorities, both parties will sign an adoption contract. Applicants can only engage in affairs and organize activities in relation to environmental protection and ecological conservation in the target national non-public use land for promoting environmental protection. Applicants may establish related simple facilities without violating the related regulations and with the approval of NPA branches or offices. Applicants must not transfer to a third party the right to use of the target national non-public use land for promoting environmental protection or engage in any acts against the law.
  2. Please visit the NPA website and find the address, phone number, and jurisdiction of individual NPA branches and offices from “About NPA” → “History” → “Organization Chart” → “NPA HQ” → “List of Jurisdiction, Address, and Phone Number of NPA Branches and Offices”.
