The National Property Administration provides state-owned land for solar power installations by competent authorities in charge of relevant industries and NGOs in active coordination with the national promotion and development of green energy industries and solar power installation related policies pursuant to relevant regulations set forth in the National Property Act. In addition, the Administration has created a special website section dedicated to the provision of information and services related to the allocation of state-owned land for solar power installations. On December 5, 2017, the Administration held an information meeting on the strengthening of efforts in the field of allocation of state-owned land for non-public use for solar power installations. Public and private sector units including the Solar PV Generation System Association of R.O.C (PVGSA), the Bureau of Energy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, regional irrigation associations, and local governments south of Taichung were invited to attend this meeting, which provided detailed information on the release and usage rights for state-owned land for non-public use in line with the implementation of green energy policies. The Administration also created a special section on its website dedicated to the allocation of state-owned land for solar power installations based on recommendations offered during said meeting. This section provides relevant information including minutes of key meetings, briefings, usage rights and relevant procedures for the release of state-owned land for non-public use, and frequently asked Q&A. Competent authorities in charge of relevant industries and NGOs can access this information online as a reference for the planned use of state-owned land for solar power installations.
The Administration further points out that state-owned land is a key national resource and that all citizens should be able to enjoy its benefits. State-owned land is activated through diverse development and usage methods in line with national policies. Resources of the private sector are injected into national infrastructure projects to boost economic momentum and growth, satisfy the demand for industrial development, increase job opportunities, and thereby create a win-win-win situation for businesses, the government, and the public.
