If the rent is overdue, the leasing agency shall impose a fine according to the following provisions:

I. The fine for the rent less than one month overdue is 0.5% of the amount outstanding, but the rent less than two days overdue is exempted from a fine.

II. The fine for the rent more than one month and less than two months overdue is 1% of the amount outstanding.

III. The fine for the rent more than two months and less than three months overdue is 1.5% of the amount outstanding.

IV. The fine for rent more than three months overdue is 0.5% of the amount outstanding for every extra month, and the maximum fine is 30% of the amount outstanding.
