Appropriation and borrowing of national non-public use real estate

For official or public use, government authorities of all levels may apply for appropriation of national non-public real estates based on Article 38 of the National Property Act or other laws and regulations. Applications should be made according to the “Directions for Appropriation of National Real Estate”.

When the use of national non-public real estates is required due to temporary or emergency official or public use, government authorities of all levels may apply for borrowing national property according to Article 40 of the National Property Act. The duration of borrowing should not exceed three months. If the national property borrowed is land, it must not be used for construction.
