Question1:What is the definition of “carbon credit”? Is there a legal definition?

The term "reduction credit" stipulated in Paragraph 13, Article 3 of the Climate Change Response Act (hereafter referred to as the Climate Act) is commonly referred to as "carbon credit" by the public. The definitions of reduction credit and other relevant terminologies have been clearly defined in the Climate Act and its subordinate regulations. The term "carbon credit" is a common term used in the ROC and is applied in various greenhouse gas emission management systems. Internationally, this term is not used, and there is no need for a separate definition.
